    Quick Egg Roast Recipe with step by step pictures. This recipe is a delicious spicy preparation of the eggs in some spice powders which is really simple to prepare.

    Quick Egg Roast

    This is one of the recipe which my friend gave me. She told me that boiled eggs can be made into this lovely roast in minutes. Urad dal is the key ingredients n this recipe, it really makes it more tasty. This roast goes very well with plain rasam rice..Try this and let me know how it turned out for you..

    Ingredients for Quick Egg Roast

    • Eggs - 5 Hard Boiled
    • Oil - 1 tbsp
    • Mustard Seeds / Kaduku - 1 tsp
    • Urad dal / Ulundu Paruppu - 1 tbsp
    • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
    • Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
    • Salt to taste

    How to Make Quick Egg Roast

    1. Heat oil in a kadai. Add in mustard seeds and let them pop.
    2. Once they pop, add in urad dal and fry till golden.
    3. Now add in chilli powder, salt and turmeric powder all in one go.
    4. Immediately after adding the spices, add in eggs and turn off the stove.
    5. Mix well and serve with rice and rasam.

      You can also use good amount of crushed black pepper in this recipe n instead of mustard n urad dal must add a little bit of cinnamon stick n cloves.
