    Garlic Naan

I would say naan is my favourite, i love the soft bread a lot. It just soaks up the curries and taste just mouthwatering. I love naan with either butter chicken or butter paneer. There are few varieties of them in my blog as well, check all of them here.

I love Naan Bread to have with the curries which I order in any restaurants. As far as I remember I have tasted plain naan, butter naan, garlic naan, coriander Naan, stuffed Naan, cheese naan. I tasted that in a restaurant called sparsa, which is in kayakumari. That was so good and cheese naan was my favourite one apart from garlic and butter Naan.

Usually they make naan using yeast. But I saw in one of anjum anand’s cooking show, in which she made naan using baking powder. I tried it and it was pretty successful. But I added some extra stuff to the naan dough to make it even more special. And the result was so good.

Hi Aarthi,Nice innovative recipe. You have used 5cups of maida, Can you pls tell how much grams of flour will your 1 cup measure? Because my cup holds 250 grams. Is it same cup measurement you have used for curd, milk?........UmaRaghu/Poland

@Unknownmy cup carry 120 gms of flour and 250 ml of curd and milk.

This recipe doesn't work correctly with measuremets. U adjust the quantity of milk and curd accordingly.
