Gopalkala Recipe – Curd Poha Recipe with step wise pictures.

Healthy poha curd or curd aval makes a light lunch or dinner. This is not only light on tummy but is a popular maharastrian recipe.

Ingredients

  • Aval / Poha - 2 cups
  • Curd - 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 1 cup or as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee - 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds / Kaduku - 1/4 tsp
  • Urad dal / Ulundu - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya podi a pinch
  • Curry leaves a sprig
  • Green Chillies - 1 chopped finely
  • Coriander leaves - 2 tblsp

Instructions

  • Mix poha with water, curd and milk. Add salt and mix well.
  • Heat ghee and add all ingredients. Let them sizzle.
  • Pour this over poha and mix well.
  • Serve cold.
