Okay i had to admit, i have consumed packets and packets of muesli when i was pregnant. i am not sure about the month, but sometime in my second trimester, i craved a lot of this stuff for breakfast. I know it is good with full of oats, nuts and dried fruits..But few months after that i totally disliked it, i never want to see that stuff again. Yes you guys know about pregnancy right..

From those days, Its been a while since i had this muesli. Few weeks back, i thought to give this a try at home, since i had all the ingredients on hand. And i should tell you, it was thousand times better than the ones which you get at stores..

And now i can proudly say that this is the best granola or muesli in the world. I modified the recipe according to my taste and available ingredients. Normally they use rolled oats for this, but i couldn't find that stuff in my place, so i used quick cooking oats and it was delicious..I also used jaggery in place of brown sugar.

I had few bowls of this muesli mixed with milk in the following days, i gave half of the mix to my mom and i reserved few cups of this for making the best granola muffins in the world. And today i did that too, it was amazing, i will post that recipe sometime by today, so keep a eye on my blog. This post is quite a big one, so be patient to load it for a while and check the pics out..Hope you will try this recipe and let me know how it turned out for you..

Hi aarthi, its an interesting Granola recipe and lovely pictures in here. I would like to share a small bit of information on granola and muesli. Though the ingredients are pretty much similar, the method of preparation is what distinguishes them. Granola is always sweetened, with a binder fat and cooked, whereas is muesli is raw, unsweetened and not cooked.
