Homemade Cake Flour Recipe – How to Make Cake Flour at Home

Cake flour is used in many cake and baked goodies recipes. Using this flour instead of regular all purpose flour results in soft fluffy cakes. It may be readily available in super markets. But making this at home is way more easier and quicker than you think. Plus it is cheaper..

The above picture is a yogurt muffin which i baked using this cake flour..you can see the texture, it is soft and pillowy..Will share that recpe soon..Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..

Preparation Time : 5 mins
Makes : 1 cup of cake flour


Ingredients : 

All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1 cup
Corn Flour – 2 tblspn

Method:

Measure 1 cup flour in a bowl or sifter. Remove 2 tblspn of the flour from the measured one.

Now replace that with 2 tblspn of cornflour.

Mix well or sieve it.

Use as needed.

Take your ingredients
Measure 1 cup of all purpose flour
take it in a bowl
now remove 2 tblspn from this
this is one tblspn
and two tblspn
Now take cornflour..same two tblspn
add it in..this is one tblspn
and two tblspn
now this is the mix
mix well
you can sieve this well..
Use as needed

    @Meerano this is cake flour. it is used in some cakes and cupcakes. But you have to add baking soda and baking powder as per the recipe. You can use this flour instead of all purpose flour. It gives you soft fluffy cakes

    @Anonymousmy 1 cup of flour measure 120 grams. And my 1 cup measures 240 ml
