    Ladies Finger Dosa

My perimma who has contributed so many yummy recipes on my blog, gave me this healthy recipe as well. This is such an easy and tasty dosa recipe. Plus not to mention it is very healthy too.

    About this Recipe

Ladies finger or Okra is a long finger-Like green vegetable with a small tip at the tapering end that is widely used in Indian vegetables, raita, and kadhis.

Ladies finger is beneficial to the eyes, skin, and RBC production. A dosa is a thin (usually crispy) South Indian flat bread made from a fermented batter primarily composed of lentils and rice. Rice and black gram are the main ingredients, which are ground together in a fine, smooth batter with a dash of salt and fermented. Dosas are a popular dish in South Indian cuisine, but they are now popular throughout the Indian subcontinent. Dosas are traditionally served hot with chutney and, more recently, sambar. Chutney is an additional accompaniment (a fine paste made up of groundnut, coconut and lentil).

When she gave me the recipe, She told me to add around 4 to 5 ladies finger for 1 cup of rice. But i wanted to make ladies finger the star of the show, so i added around 10 for 1 cup of rice and it turned out great. Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you.

Ingredients for Ladies Finger Dosa Recipe :

    Ladies Finger:
Ladyfingers have a very mild flavour by themselves, but they can be made fancier by adding ingredients like lemon, cinnamon, cardamom, or orange peel. Because of their dryness, they are extremely absorbent, which is useful in the preparation of desserts.
