When she gave me the recipe, She told me to add around 4 to 5 ladies finger for 1 cup of rice. But i wanted to make ladies finger the star of the show, so i added around 10 for 1 cup of rice and it turned out great. Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..

Preparation Time : 15 mins
Soaking Time : 3 to 4 hours
Serves : 4

Ingredients:

Rice – 1 cup ( i used idli rice)
Ladies Finger – 8 to 10
Salt as needed
Water as needed

Method:

Wash and soak rice for 3 to 4 hours.

Remove the stem and bottom of the ladies finger and cut into pieces.

Take drained rice in a blender, add in the ladies finger and puree them smoothly by adding water.

Pour the batter into the bowl and add salt to it.

You can use the batter immediately or cover it and put in the fridge and use later. DONT NEED TO FERMENT THE BATTER.

Heat a dosa pan, spread like a thin dosa. Drizzle oil around the sides. Cook till golden on one side, flip over and cook till golden on other side as well.

Remove to a plate and serve.

Pictorial:
Measure your rice
Wash them well
Cover with fresh water and let them soak
now the rice is soaked
take your okra
