When she gave me the recipe, She told me to add around 4 to 5 ladies finger for 1 cup of rice. But i wanted to make ladies finger the star of the show, so i added around 10 for 1 cup of rice and it turned out great. Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..
Preparation Time : 15 mins
Soaking Time : 3 to 4 hours
Serves : 4
Rice – 1 cup ( i used idli rice)
Ladies Finger – 8 to 10
Salt as needed
Water as needed
Method:
Wash and soak rice for 3 to 4 hours.
Remove the stem and bottom of the ladies finger and cut into pieces.
Take drained rice in a blender, add in the ladies finger and puree them smoothly by adding water.
Pour the batter into the bowl and add salt to it.
You can use the batter immediately or cover it and put in the fridge and use later. DONT NEED TO FERMENT THE BATTER.
Heat a dosa pan, spread like a thin dosa. Drizzle oil around the sides. Cook till golden on one side, flip over and cook till golden on other side as well.
Remove to a plate and serve.

take your okra |
cut the top and bottom |
cut into chunks |
Take rice in a blender |
add in ladies finger |
crush them |
add water and make it into a smooth puree |

Pour it in a bowl |
add little salt |
Mix well..NO NEED TO FERMENT THE BATTER, you can use immediately. |
Take a ladleful of batter |
Spread like a dosa |
Cook till golden on bottom |
Flip over and cook |
Serve |

@Anonymousyes u can use green chilli, add some chopped onions, ginger, curry leaves too
Will it be soft ? As we are not fermenting it
