    Nilavembu Kudineer Recipe - A Siddha Drink that Cures Dengue Fever

    Nilavembu kudineer chooranam is one of a powerful herb mixture which cures and prevents the widely spreading dengue fever.

    Nilavembu Kudineer is a polyherbal decoction and contains the following herbs: Nilavembu, Vettiver, Vilamichai ver, Chukku, Milagu, Korai Kizhangu, Santhanam, Parpadaagam and Pei pudul.

    Actions of Nilavembu kudineer:

    Antipyretic- Reduces fever and bring backs the normal body temperature
    Anti-inflammatory- controls infection caused by the pathogens.
    Analgesic- Relieves body aches.
    Body cleansing- Detoxes the blood, liver and spleen for pathogenic endotoxins.

    Preparation Time : 1 min
    Cooking Time : 15 mins

    Ingredients:

    Water - 500 ml
    Nilavembu Kudineer Powder - 4 tblspn
    Jaggery or Honey to taste

    Method:

    Take water and the powder in a sauce pan and boil it untill it is reduced by half.

    Now take it off the heat and cover with a lid and let it sit for 5 mins or so. 

    Now strain them and add jaggery to it.

    Serve.
