Puffed Wheat Chaat Recipe - Godhumai Pori Recipe with step wise pictures.

Tasty and healthy puffed wheat chaat which is super yummy. The puffed wheat is crispy and make a healthy alternative for puffed rice chaat. Good for diabetic patients too.

I am new to this puffed wheat / gothumai pori. I am seeing this on my grocery store. It is a healthy alternative to puffed rice. It looks like very puffed. When you open the packet and have it as it is, it will taste very bland and little chewy not very crispy. But you have to roast this on a dry pan for 3 to 5 mins. As you roast them the puffed wheat will shrink in size and gets very crunchy. The roasting gives lovely aroma to the puffed wheat as well. You can then add whatever you like and enjoy.

If you are looking for a quick spicy crunchy snack to go with your cup of tea then this is it. It is a puffed wheat snack and it is a bit spicy but has lots of crunchy elements on them .You can add some roasted gram dal or peanuts in this, i didn’t have any so i skipped that.
