    Aloo Bhaji without Onions & Garlic. Puri Bhaji with step by step pictures. Delicious potato curry for poori which is easy to make and taste delicious.

    Aloo Bhaji without Onions

    I have shared so many versions of aloo bhaji so far. This one is a no onion and garlic version. It is so easy to make and can be made in less than 10 - 15 mins.

    Ingredients for Aloo Bhaji

    • Potatoes - 2 large boiled, peeled and mashed roughly
    • Oil - 1 tblspn
    • Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
    • Green Chillies - 3 to 4 chopped finely
    • Ginger - 1 tblspn chopped finely
    • Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya Podi - a pinch
    • Turmeric Powder -  1 tsp
    • Gram Flour / Kadalai Mavu / Besan - 2 tsp
    • Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped

    How to Make Aloo Bhaji

    1. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
    2. Add in ginger, green chillies and asafoetida and let them sizzle.
    3. Add in turmeric and mix well.
    4. In goes potatoes and toss well in the oil.
    5. Add in water, salt and mix well.
    6. Now bring this to a boil and simmer for 5 mins.
    7. Mix gram flour with little water and add it in. Simmer for 5 mins.
    8. Add coriander leaves and Mix well.
    9. Serve with poori.

    Ingredients

    Puri Bhaji Step by Step

     
    Take all your ingredients

     

    heat oil in a pan

     

    add in cumin seeds

     

    asafoetida

     

    add green chillies and ginger

     

    mix well

     

    add turmeric

     

    mix well

     

    add potatoes

     

    toss well

     

    add water

     

    add little salt

     

    mix well

     

    simmer for few mins

     

    take gram flour in a bowl

     

    add water and mix well

     

    add it in

     

    simmer for few more mins
