Puri Bhaji Recipe – Breakfast Aloo Bhaji Recipe – Aloo Bhaji without Onions & Garlic

I have shared so many versions of aloo bhaji so far. This one is a no onion and garlic version. It is so easy to make and can be made in less than 10 – 15 mins.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Serves: 4


Ingredients:

Potatoes – 2 large boiled, peeled and mashed roughly
Oil – 1 tblspn
Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam – 1 tsp
Green Chillies – 3 to 4 chopped finely
Ginger – 1 tblspn chopped finely
Asafoetida / Hing / Kaya Podi – a pinch
Turmeric Powder –  1 tsp
Water as needed
Gram Flour / Kadalai Mavu / Besan – 2 tsp
Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped
Salt to taste

Method:

Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.

Add in ginger, green chillies and asafoetida and let them sizzle.

Add in turmeric and mix well.

Add in potatoes and toss well in the oil.

Add in water, salt and mix well.

Now bring this to a boil and simmer for 5 mins.

Mix gram flour with little water and add it in. Simmer for 5 mins.

Add coriander leaves and Mix well.

Serve with poori.

take gram flour in a bowl
add water and mix well
add it in
simmer for few more mins
