Something i love about halloween, but i have never made any recipes for that. SO i decided to try a halloween special recipe this time. I saw this spooky witch fingers all over the internet and pinterest. So decided to give it a go..

I had lots of fun when making this cookies and it turned out pretty good as well. The taste was really yummy, buttery sugar cookies.

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Chilling Time : 30 mins
Baking Time : 20 to 25 mins

Ingredients:
Unsalted Butter – 1 cup / 220 grams
Confectioners Sugar / Icing Sugar – 1 cup / 125 grams
Egg – 1
Almond Extract – 1 tsp
Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
All Purpose Flour / Maida – 2 3/4 cup / 310 grams
Baking Powder – 1 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Blanched Almonds as needed (peeled)
Green Food Colour few drops
Red Fruit Jam as needed
(My 1 cup measures 240 ml)
Method:
Preheat oven to 160 degree C. Line a baking tray with parchment and set aside.
Take butter, sugar in a bowl and whisk well till fluffy.
Add in both the essence and mix well.
Add in egg and mix well.
Add in green food colour and mix well.
Add in flour, baking powder and salt and mix well till you get a soft dough.
Chill the dough for 30 mins.
Now take a tblspn of the dough and shape it into a log like, make indention on it like you have on a finger. Use a knife to make some wrinkles. Place a almond on the top as nail.
Bake this for 20 to 25 mins.
Now remove it from oven, remove the almonds and place some jam on the nails, place back the almonds.
Cool it down and store in a air tight container.

I've been cooking peppers and onions in the skillet on the flame broil a great deal of late. I'll need to include jalapenos next time. Yum. I like cooking bacon that much as well, albeit hot fat + open fire includes a decent component of threat. I used to get flank steak, yet my significant other inspired me to attempt the carne asada cut from our nearby market, and I favor it. Not certain if it's thin-cut flank or skirt (I'll need to ask), however it would appear that this
