    Fish and Chips

This is one recipe which i wanted to try for quite a long time. Somehow it didn't happen, but few days back  I got a chance to get my hands on some boneless fish pieces and guess what immediately i got into action and here i deliver you the recipe. I used frozen french fries in this because i had a packet of them lying, but you can make your own french fries, see this recipe or you can simply serve it with potato chips. I served with with some spicy mayo, but you can easily whip this gherkin mayo instead.

    About Fish and Chips

Many fish species are caught and consumed as food by humans in almost every region of the world. Throughout human history, fish has been an important source of protein and other nutrients. A spicy fish fry is a meal that consists of battered or breaded fried fish. French fries, coleslaw, hushpuppies, lemon slices, tartar sauce, hot sauce, malt vinegar, and dessert are usually included. Some Native American recipes call for coating the fish with semolina and egg yolk.

Actually this is pretty easy recipe to try, when i searched on google, i found every recipe uses beer for their fish and chips. Some recipe calls for milk. But i decided to use soda water which made the batter really light and crunchy.

Ingredients for Spicy Fish and Chips

    Mayonnaise :

Mayonnaise is an emulsion of oil, egg yolk, and either vinegar or lemon juice as an acid. There are numerous variations that include additional flavourings. The colour ranges from near-white to pale yellow, with a texture that ranges from light cream to thick gel.

    Chilli Powder  :

Chili powder is a spice blend, and recipes differ from cook to cook and company to company. Chili powders typically contain cayenne pepper, paprika, cumin, oregano, and garlic. It enhances the flavour and heat of recipes.

    Gherkins:

A pickled cucumber (also known as a gherkin in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand) is a cucumber that has been pickled in a brine, vinegar, or other solution and left to ferment for a period of time, either by immersing the cucumbers in an acidic solution or through lacto-fermentation.

    Soda Water:

Main and key ingredient for making crispy fish.
