Spinach Raita Flavoured with Garlic & Cumin


This is a best and healthy sidedish for briyani or pulav....Try to use thick curd for this,that’s make it really tasty...

This is a cooling refreshing sidedish during summer...

So without any more delay..Off you go for the recipe...

Ingrediants:

Spinach / Palak-2 cups chopped finely
Thick Unsour Curd / Thick Greek Yogurt-2 cups
Green chilli-2 chopped finely
Garlic -1 minced
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
Asafoetida / Hing- ¼ tsp
Salt to taste
Oil-1 tsp

Method:

Heat oil in a kadai...Add in asafoetida and cumin seeds..Let this crackle..

Add in green chilli and garlic and fry for 1 min.

Add in chopped spinach and cook this for 5 -8 mins until the spinach is wilted and all water is dried up..

Meanwhile beat the curd with some salt till smooth..

Add this wilted spinach to the curd and mix well.

Serve with pulav or briyani..

Take all your ingrediants
Heat oil and add in hing..
and cumin seeds
now add in garlic and green chillies
add in spinach and mix well
Cook till spinach is cooked
Beat curd with salt till smooth
add in spinach
mix well
Serve
