Vegetable Fried Rice (Indo Chinese Style ) / How to Prepare Vegetables for Fried Rice (Step by Step) – Lunch Box Ideas / Leftover Rice Recipes

Fried rice is my favorite dish to order in any restaurants..I love having fried rice with gobi manchurian or gobi 65..Chicken is also my favorite combo with fried rice..I can have it with chicken manchurian, dragon chicken, chilli chicken or any chinese style recipes..

Near our place there is a small portable café where they serve fried rice, it was so good..They use a huge wok to cook this fried rice..If we order a plate of chicken fried rice, They throw ginger & garlic in hot oil and add lots of shredded cabbage..I have never seen them using carrots or onions, Then they add cooked rice from the pile of rice the have near by..And throw in fried chicken 65 pieces and season it with salt, pepper, ajinomoto and soy sauce..Finally they add tons and tons of spring onions…They pile this up in a disposable plate and give to us, this one is less than 30 rs and the taste was heavenly..OK now I crave for this..

This one is totally different from the one which I had...This recipe has lots of vegetables which are beautifully sliced and prepared and throwed together.They look and taste so good…I have given step by step pictures to prepare those veggies..This is a great recipe to put in lunch box or even to use up leftover rice..Fried rice is best had piping hot…So have it as soon as possible..

Rice – 3 cups cooked (any rice as you wish)
Onion – 1 sliced thinly
Carrot – 2 large cut into matchsticks
Beans – 10 cut in diagnols
Ginger – 1 tblspn minced
Garlic – 1 tblspn minced
Green Chilli – 3 cut in lengthwise
Soya Sauce – 2 tblspn or to taste
Ajinomoto – 1 tsp (optional)
Sugar – 1 tblspn
Salt to taste
Coarsely Crushed Pepper to taste
Oil- 2 tblspn
Spring Onion for Garnishing


Heat oil in a wok till it smokes..Add ginger, garlic and green chilli and mix well.

Add in onions and fry for 2 mins. Add in all the vegetables and toss well.

Add sugar and ajinomoto(if using) and mix well. Cook on high heat for 10 mins .

Add rice and toss well. Add in salt, pepper, soya sauce and mix well.

Fry on high heat for 3 mins.

Garnish with spring onion and serve hot..

Take all your ingrediants
Start to prepare your veggies
Peel some carrots
cut the top and bottom off
cu them in half
slice them lengthwise
then cut them into matchsticks
Do exactly same to everything
Now take your beans
cut the top and bottom off
and slice them in diagnols
all done
peel your onion
cut in half
flip them over
and slice thinly
separate them
now to chillies
slice them
peel ur garlic
and cut them lengthwise
peel ur ginger
slice them
cut them lengthwise
mince them
rice is cooked
heat a wok till it smokes
add ginger, garlic and chilli
and saute them
add onions
and saute them
add veggies
and toss them
add sugar
and mix well..Cook till the veggies are done
add rice
and fry them
add salt and pepper
add soy sauce
and mix well
all mixed up
