    Mango Milk Recipe

This is a delicious mango milk which taste so yummy. It is quite easy to make. Store homemade mango syrup in fridge and you can whip this milk in no time.

    About Mango Milk Recipe

Mango milk is a popular beverage in japan. I remember indulging in many packets of mango milk from 7-eleven during our trip to Thailand. It tasted so refreshing during our long travel days.

I wanted to make homemade mango milk for a very long time particularly when mangoes are in season. The first step in making mango milk is nailing a perfect mango sauce or mango syrup. It is very convenient to have on hand. Once you make the mango sauce then just mix with milk to make mango milk anytime.

This is a delicious sauce which taste amazing when mixed with cold milk. Mango sauce can be served with waffles, pancakes, ice cream or cake.

    Mangoes

Use seasonal ripe mangoes for best taste. Mangoes at its peak of ripeness or over ripe mangoes can be used. I like to pick mangoes which are aromatic and sweet like alphonsa, panganapalli variety.

    Sugar

The amount of sugar depends on the sweetness of mangoes. Since the syrup is mixed with milk you have to add extra sugar to balance the sweetness.

    Milk

Boil and refrigerate milk. Add as much mango syrup as you prefer. Whole milk can be substituted with oat milk, soy milk or unflavoured almond milk.
