FOR MORE BABY FOOD RECIPES, CLICK HERE..

I have started giving soups to my baby, she is loving it. I have already posted a dal spinach soup. This is my cream of vegetable soup. I have started giving milk to my baby since she has started her 12th month. I add little cow's milk in her baby foods. I added some in her soups too. Specially this veg soup taste so good when you add some milk. But if your baby is less than 1 year. You can simply leave it out. Check out my other soup recipes too..

Things to remember when making soups:

1)Always wash your veggies really well.

2)You can use any veggies of your choice.

3)You can feed this soup in the evening, this makes a light before dinner meal for your baby.

4)If your baby need some taste in their food, you can add some salt too.

5)If your baby is less than 1 year old, dont add milk in this. Cow's Milk should be given to babies more than 1 year.

How to sterilize baby feeding bowls:

Start by sterilizing the bowls and spoons which you are going to feed your baby. Take the bowl and spoon in a large saucepan, cover it with water and bring them to a boil. Boil it rapidly for 5 mins. Now you can turn the heat off and leave them stay in the hot water till use.

How to Make Cream of Veg Soup:

Ingredients:

Potatoes - 1/4 of a small one peeled and chopped
Carrots - 1/4 of a small one chopped
Beans - 2 chopped
Cauliflower - 2 small piece chopped
Garlic - 1 clove
Water - 1/2 cup
Milk - 3 tblspn boiled (use if your baby is more than 1 year)

Method:

Take all veggies in a pressure cooker, add in water and garlic. Pressure cook for 3 whistle. Turn off the heat and let the pressure go all by itself.

Open the cooker and add it in a blender. Puree it finely.

Add in boiled milk and puree again.

Pour into bowl and feed your baby.
