    Roasted Carrots Recipe with step by step picture. This is made with Carrot and Olive oil which makes a great finger foods for babies.

    This is my latest addiction, i made this for lil maha and she loved it to the core. More than her me and hubby loved it so much. It is sweet and well browned and so good..Great for little ones. Instead of boiled carrots, give them this. It is tasty and nutritious and really yummy.

    Ingredients for Carrot Chews

    • Carrots - 3 to 4 large
    • Salt to taste
    • Olive Oil or any Cooking Oil - 1 tsp

    How to make Carrot Chews

    1. Preheat oven to 200 degree C.
    2. Peal and wash carrots, slice it into long strips. 
    3. Take it in a bowl, season with salt and oil and toss well.
    4. Spoon this into baking pan and bake for 25 to 30 mins till the carrots are cooked and roasted to your liking. 
    5. Remove it and cool it well. 
    6. Serve to your kids or enjoy yourselves.

    Roasted Carrots Recipe step by step picture 

     
    Take your carrots..wash it well
    I used to peel the outer thin skin from the carrots..
     
    cut it like this
    cut it into long strips
    prepare it like this

    take it in a bowl
    season with little salt
    drizzle in some oil
    toss well
    pour it in a baking pan
    spread it in a single layer
    Bake till done
    Cool it down, serve

      @Vidyau have to saute this in a pan on a medium low heat till it is cooked and caramelized

      Hi mam...may I do this recipe in otg? I don't have microwave oven. ..... may I give this to my 7 months old baby for chewing?
