    Chocolate jelly with step by step pictures. Chocolate pudding made using milk, cocoa powder, cornflour, agar agar and dark chocolate. Delicious set chocolate jelly which makes a perfect dessert.

    Chocolate Jelly Recipe

    This is a delicious cocoa jelly, it is pretty easy to make and taste delicious. It uses just cocoa powder and is super easy. You can make them with just few ingredients which you already have on hand.

    About Chocolate Jelly

    This delicious chocolate jelly is made using milk, cocoa powder, cornflour, chocolate and setting agent. I used agar agar to make this pudding, you can use gelatin as well. But reduce it to 2 tsp. This recipe is great for parties, kids will love it for sure.

    I love playing with puddings, they are so much to make and eat. Specially when you are having kids around they make a perfect dish to enjoy. I am doing quite a bit of pudding recipe for the past few days, i have one more pudding recipes coming up as well.

    This is such a easy recipe to make, you just need few ingredients to make this..It has pure chocolate taste and flavour, so silky and delicious..Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you.

    Chocolate Jelly Using Cocoa Powder Ingredients

    Milk 
    Sugar 
    Cocoa Powder
    Corn flour 
    Agar Agar Strips
    Water
    Salt

    Chocolate Jelly Preparation 

    • Soak agar agar strips in water for 10 mins, Heat till it is completely melted.
    • Take sugar, cocoa powder, cornflour in a sauce pan, add milk and whisk well. Cook this on medium heat while keeping on whisking. Cook till it thickens.
    • Add agar agar and salt and mix well.
    • Pour this into moulds and set in fridge till completely set.
    • Serve.

    Take china grass in a bowl

    add water and soak for 10 mins

    now take it in a pan

    heat till it is melted

    Milk 
    China Grass / Agar Agar
    Water 
    Cocoa Powder
    Sugar
    Dark Chocolate Chips 
    Vanilla Extract

    Take all your ingredients

    You need some china grass or agar agar

    break it into small pieces in a saucepan

    add in ½ cup of water

    mix well using your hands

    Ingredients
      

    Chocolate Jelly (using Cocoa Powder)

    • Milk - 2 cups
    • Sugar - ¼ cup or to taste
    • Cocoa Powder - 2 to 3 tblspn
    • Corn flour - 1 tblspn
    • Agar Agar Strips - 10 grams
    • Water - ½ cup
    • Salt a pinch

    Chocolate Jelly (using dark chocolate)

    • Milk - 2 ¼ cup
    • China Grass / Agar Agar - 15 grams
    • Water - ½ cup
    • Cocoa Powder - 2 tblspn
    • Sugar - ¾ cup
    • Dark Chocolate Chips - ½ cup
    • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp

    Instructions
     

    Chocolate Jelly (using Cocoa Powder)

    • Soak agar agar strips in water for 10 mins, Heat till it is completely melted.
    • Take sugar, cocoa powder, cornflour in a sauce pan, add milk and whisk well. Cook this on medium heat while keeping on whisking. Cook till it thickens.
    • Add agar agar and salt and mix well.
    • Pour this into moulds and set in fridge till completely set.
    • Serve.

    Chocolate Jelly (using dark chocolate)

    • Break china grass or agar agar in a saucepan, add in ½ cup and mix well with your hands. Set aside and soak for 15 mins till you get ready with other stuffs.
    • Take ¼ cup of milk in a bowl, add in cocoa and mix well. Set aside.
    • Take 2 cups of milk and sugar in a saucepan, Heat till the milk comes to a boil.
    • Now add in cocoa mix, chocolate chips and heat till the chocolate is melted. Add in vanilla and mix well.
    • Heat china grass saucepan on low heat till it is melted.
    • Add in  china grass mix and whisk well.
    • Grease a square pan with little oil and pour the chocolate mix in and let this cool for couple of hours. Pop this in fridge and set it for 4 to 6 hours.
    • Unmould it and cut into squares. Serve.

      Can we use dark choclate instead of chips and plz share the quantity as tsp if want to use gelatin,china grass not available @ my place

      @sandhu singhyes u can use chocolate, chop it and measure 1/2 cup. And gelatin, use 1.5 tblspn to 2 tblspn

      You mentioned some of the ingredients in terms of cup. Could you please tell those in terms of ml and gram? Can we skip vanilla essence? And whether badam pisin can be used as a substitute for agar agar?

      ur recipes are wonderful..i have tried many of ur recipes but i rarely comment.
      ur fish dum biryani is a hit in my home..all loved it

      does skipping chocolate chips alter the taste? does it make taste a little bitter if we omit the chocolate chips in this recipe?

      Hi.. The pudding was very hard..I think 15 gms of China grass is too much for this recipe... It was not in a pudding consistency. I followed the recipe as such...
