This is a delicious biscotti recipe which has no butter added in them. It is quite basic and straightforward recipe. You mix all the ingredients in a bowl and shape it into a dough like. Then bake it and slice it again and bake again. Thats it

This is super easy to make and taste amazing with a cup of tea or coffee, even milk. I made it almond flavoured and it was wonderful. I will be making different flavours again soon.

Ingredients:
Oil – 1/4 cup / 60 ml
Sugar – 1/2 cup / 100 grams
All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1 1/2 cup + 2 tblspn
Egg – 1.5 egg (1 egg + 1/2 beaten egg)
Baking Powder – 1.5 tsp
Salt a pinch
Almonds / Badam – 3/4 cup chopped finely
Almond Extract – 1 tsp
(My 1 cup measures 240 ml)
Method:
Preheat oven to 190 degree C / 375 degree F.
Take oil, sugar, almond extract, egg in a bowl and mix till combined.
Add in baking powder and salt mix well.
Add in maida and almonds. Mix well to a dough.
Now shape it like a log and bake for 25 to 30 mins in the middle rack.
Now remove it cool down for 15 to 20 mins.
Now slice it into 2 cm thickness and arrange it in a baking tray. Pop it back in oven and bake for 6 to 10 mins on each side till it is golden.
Now serve with a cup of tea or coffee.
