Preparation Time : 10 mins
Baking Time : 15 mins
Makes : 9 to 10 cookies
Unsalted Soft Butter – 1/2 cup / 110 grams
Brown Sugar – 1/2 cup / 100 grams
Sugar – 2 tblspn
Milk – 2 tblspn or as needed
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Baking Soda / Cooking Soda – 1/2 tsp
Whole Wheat Flour – 3/4 cup / 90 grams
Quick Cooking Oats – 1 cup / 90 grams
Cocoa Powder – 3 tblspn
Chocolate Chips – 3/4 cup
Nuts – 1/4 cup ( I used pumpkin seeds and chironji)
(My 1 cup measures 240 ml)
Method:
Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Line a baking sheet with foil and set aside.
Take wheat flour, oats, salt, baking soda, cocoa powder in a bowl and mix well. Set aside.
Take butter, brown sugar, regular sugarin a bowl and use a beater to whip this up. Now add in milk and mix well.
Add in the flour mix and mix well.
Add in chocolate chips and mix well.
Use a icecream scoop to scoop the dough. Place it in the foil lined baking tray,flatten it using a spatula and bake for 14 to 20 mins.
Remove it from oven, cool it down for 10 mins. Now remove it to a wire rack and cool completely.
Store in a air tight container.

add in milk |
whip it up |
add in the oats mix |
fold gently |
add in chocolate chips |
and nuts |
mix well |
use a icecream scoop to scoop the dough out |
place it in a foil lined baking tray |
flatten it |
bake till done |
cool it and serve |
can i replace butter with vegetable oil.. what should be the proportion if i can . would want to make it as an healthy option

which unsalted butter do you use in India?? brown sugar which brand ?? And which baking soda brand do you use?? as I find it difficult to find branded baking soday here in Mumbai .. I get the loose variety which I do not trust.
