    Homemade Pav Bhaji Masala Recipe with step by step pictures. This is easy homemade recipe that is used for flavouring the pav bhaji or tawa pulao.

    Homemade Pav Bhaji Masala Powder

    Pav Bhaji Masala, such a versatile spice powder to have on hand. Because they turn any simple dish extraordinary with their touch. I love to add it to pulao, chicken dishes, veg dishes and many other..It is nothing but a version of garam masala but it has amchoor powder added to it as well..

    Ingredients for Homemade Pav Bhaji Masala

    • Dry Red Chilli - 7 to 8
    • Kashmiri Red Chilli - 10
    • Coriander Seeds / Malli - ¼ cup
    • Cloves - 10 to 12
    • Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 2 tbsp
    • Fennel Seeds / Sombu / Saunf - 1.5 tbsp
    • Cinnamon / Pattai - 5 cm big piece
    • Black Cardamom - 4
    • Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - 1 tbsp
    • Amchoor Powder / Dry Mango Powder - 2 tbsp
     

    This is my version of this universal powder and i have many recipes coming up using this powder. You can easily buy them in super market these days. But i am telling you, just make it at home and you will never go back to store bought stuffs..

    How to Make Homemade Pav Bhaji Masala

    1. Take all the ingredients except the powdered spices in a heavy bottom pan and roast on low heat for 7 to 10 mins
    2. Now add in turmeric and amchoor powder. Mix for 30 sec.
    3. Remove this to a plate and let it cool down.
    4. Now take this in a blender and powder it.
    5. Store this in an air tight container for over a month and in fridge for more than 6 months.

    Ingredients

    Pav Bhaji Masala Recipe Step by Step

    Take all your ingredients
    Add all of them in a heavy bottom pan
    roast on a low heat for a good 7 to 10 mins
    the colour will slowly turn golden
    now everything is well roasted
     
     
    add in turmeric powder
    and amchoor powder
    toss well for another 30 sec or so
    remove them to a plate to cool down
    now take them in a blender
    Powder them..Masala done
     
     
    Store this in a air tight container for over a month
