Cooking Time : 10 mins
Makes : 1 cup
Dry Red Chilli – 7 to 8
Kashmiri Red Chilli – 10
Coriander Seeds / Malli – 1/4 cup
Cloves – 10 to 12
Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam – 2 tblspn
Fennel Seeds / Sombu / Saunf – 1.5 tblspn
Cinnamon / Pattai – 5 cm big piece
Black Cardamom – 4
Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi – 1 tblspn
Amchoor Powder / Dry Mango Powder – 2 tblspn
Method:
Take all the ingredients except the powdered spices in a heavy bottom pan and roast on low heat for 7 to 10 mins
Now add in turmeric and amchoor powder. Mix for 30 sec.
Remove this to a plate and let it cool down.
Now take this in a blender and powder it.
Store this in a air tight container for over a month and in fridge for more than 6 months.
