Jackfruit is one of the amazing fruit from god’s creation..It has hard pricky skins outside(which requires a lots of strength to cut it up) and the fruit inside is really sweet and yummy..And the special thing about this fruit is you can’t hide it anywhere because the smell shows itself,it has a lovey aroma..
It is a love/hate fruit..If you love it you will go crazy about this, and if you hate it you will never go near it...I totally love it..

Now coming to this recipe...we are going to use the raw form of jackfruit to make this pulav..This pulav is totally different from the normal pulav which you have tasted so far..
So here you go for the step by step recipe with pictures...
    Recipe source:Showmethecurry.com

Now heat oil in a kadai and add in cinnamon, cloves, cardamom..Fry this for 3 mins..
Add in onions and mix well..Fry this till golden brown..
Add in tomatoes, peas and carrot..Fry this for 5 mins..
Add in spice powders and mix well..Now throw in the fried jackfruit pieces and mix well..
Season with salt..Add in coriander and mint leaves..
Pour in curd and mix well.Add in soaked rice and mix well..
Pour in 4 cups of water and bring that to boil..Cover and simmer this till the rice has absorbed all water and it is cooked..It will take around 15-20 mins..
Now fluff it with a fork and add a tblspn of ghee over the rice..Garnish with some more cilantro..
Cover this for a while so that the flavours gets together..
