Microwave Eggless Vanilla Cake
This cake is to celebrate a happiest moment, yes my facebook page reached 200k likes..This is one of my happiest moment..i never thought that my little blog will reach so many peoples all over the world. I am happy that i am helping so many peoples in cooking, it makes me really happy.
Ingredients for Microwave Eggless Vanilla Cake Recipe
For Cake :
- All Purpose Flour / Maida - ¾ cup / 90 gms
- Sugar - ½ cup / 100 gms
- Baking Soda - ½ tsp
- Milk - ½ cup / 120 ml
- Unsalted Butter - 3 tbsp melted
- Vanilla Essence - 2 tsp
- Vinegar or Lemon Juice - 1.5 tsp
For Chocoate Glaze:
- Sugar - ½ cup / 100 gms
- Cocoa Powder - 3 tbsp
- Unsalted Butter - 1 tbsp melted
- Milk - 3 to 4 tbsp
As soon as i saw this, i ran into my kitchen and made this cake to celebrate this special moment. This cake turned out like super moist and soft. I loved it so much and i was super excited to see that cake. Because i never thought that a super delicious and soft cake can be made in microwave in less than 4 mins. I made this cake from start to finish in 15 mins.
How to Make Microwave Eggless Vanilla Cake
- Take flour, sugar, baking soda in a bowl and mix well.
- Make a well in the center of the bowl, pour in milk, melted butter and vanilla in it. Fold to mix.
- Add in vinegar and mix well to form a smooth batter.
- Now grease a microwave safe dish with butter generously, pour the batter in and bake for 3 mins.
- Remove it and let it cool down for 5 mins. Now release the sides with a knife and invert it to a plate.
- Now make icing, take sugar, cocoa and butter in a bowl and mix well. Pop the bowl in a microwave for 30 sec.
- Now the mix with get little loose. Add in more milk a tblspn at a time and mix well to get the right consistency.
- Pour this icing over the cake, pour the icing when the cake is still warm. Top it with some sprinkles.
- Slice and serve.

This recipe is the perfect cake for any occasion too. Kids can make this cake any time in microwave. I have shared a simple chocolate icing that makes this cake even more delicious.
Ingredients for Microwave Eggless Vanilla Cake Recipe
- All Purpose Flour / Maida - ¾ cup / 90 gms
- Sugar - ½ cup / 100 gms
- Baking Soda - ½ tsp
- Milk - ½ cup / 120 ml
- Unsalted Butter - 3 tbsp melted
- Vanilla Extract - 2 tsp
- Vinegar or Lemon Juice - 1.5 tsp
How to Make Vanilla cake in Microwave
1)Take plain flour, sugar in a bowl.
2) Add in baking soda
3)Mix this really well.
4)Add in milk
5)Add in melted butter.
6)Pour in a splash of vanilla extract.
7)Add in some vinegar. This makes the cake incredibly soft.
8)The cake batter is ready to bake.
9)Pour the cake batter in a greased microwave safe bowl.
10)pop it into the microwave and cook for 3 minutes.
11)The cake will look soft when it comes out. Let it cool in the bowl for 5 minutes before inverting into a serving plate.
How to Make Chocolate Icing for Cake
These are the ingredients which you need for making the glaze.
- Sugar - ½ cup / 100 gms
- Cocoa Powder - 3 tbsp
- Unsalted Butter - 1 tbsp melted
- Milk - 3 to 4 tbsp
12) Now to make icing, Take sugar, cocoa and butter in a bowl and mix well. Pop the bowl in a microwave for 30 sec. Now the mix with get little liquidy. Add in more milk, a tblspn at a time and mix well to get the right consistency. Thats it you glaze is ready.
13)Pour this icing over the cake. Make sure you pour the icing when the cake is still warm. Top it with some sprinkles.
14)Slice and serve.

@Annie No you dont have to preheat...Just cook it in normal cooking mode...Not in convection mode..

@AnonymousNo the measurements are correct, you have to use the proper measuring cup. My 1 cup measure holds 240 ml. Just try it once again.

I tried this even after sifting baking soda with flour.
Baked it in high fr 6 mins
But still it was little fudge in the bottom and sides
Moreover the measurement makes it vry sweet
I tried the exact measurements too.
Baking comes oly out of experience I guess

Thanks for your post and I tried your gravy recipe and it came out well.
This is my first baking or caking but it turned out badly.I used same measurements and while cooking the batter came out of container and after cooling it settled in bottom 🙁 and it's kind of paste and dark brown and settled in bottom.
If there is option to show pic I would have posted it here so you could be able to tell me what went wrong.
