I love cutlets, they are so addictive. We make veggie cutlets often at home and i love it. You can check it here. I have a friend who brings cutlets made of fish and mutton very often. Even though i am not a big fan of fish cutlets, i love her mutton cutlets. I always wanted to blog about that two recipe here in my blog, because i know there are so many fish lovers out there.

Last week when i made fish briyani, i had some leftover fish lying around. So i thought to give this cutlet a try. It is so simple to make, there is just simple stuffs going in this recipe. Finally the cutlets came out so yummy and my sisters loved it so much. The cool thing about this is, you can make the cutlet patties and freeze them, so whenever you need them, you can just fry them and serve.

Add in chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt and cook for 30 sec. Now the masala in done.

Take boiled mashed potatoes, shredded fish, coriander leaves and sauted onion mixture in a bowl and mix well.

Take small portions and shape them into patties and set aside.

Now take maida, cornflour and water in a bowl and mix them well to a thin paste.Take breadcrumbs in a bowl and keep it ready.

Now take the patties and dip them first in maida batter and then in breadcrumbs. Let the breadcrumbs coat on all sides and arrange them in plate.

Put this in fridge for a good 30 mins if required. Or else you can fry them immediately.

Thank you for such a lovely recipe. I was wondering what to do with left over fish and this worked out fine. I'm 23 and this was my first attempt at making cutlets. Thank you 🙂
