    Quail Egg Curry Recipe - Kaada Mutta Curry Recipe

    This is a simplest egg curry. I normally use regular eggs in this, but this time i decided to use quail eggs and it was delicious. It has a base of simple onions and tomatoes and can be made in few mins. It can be made in a jiffy and taste great with either rice or roti. So good.

    Preparation Time : 10 mins
    Cooking Time : 30 mins
    Serves: 4


    Ingredients:

    Quail Eggs - 20

    Oil - 2 tblspn
    Cumin Seeds / Jeerakam - 1 tsp
    Onion -  1 large chopped finely
    Curry leaves a handful
    Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tblspn
    Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
    Tomatoes - 2 large pureed
    Green Chillies - 2 slit
    Salt to taste
    Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
    Coriander powder - 1 tblspn
    Garam Masala Powder - 2 tsp
    Water as needed
    Coriander Leaves a handful finely chopped

    Method:


    Boil quail eggs in water for 3 to 4 mins. Wash it in lots of cold water and peel the skin off. Set aside.

    Heat oil in a kadai. Add in cumin seeds and let them sizzle.

    Add in onions, curry leaves, salt and turmeric powder and fry them till golden.

    Add in ginger garlic paste and saute for a min.

    Add in green chillies and spice powder and mix well.

    Add in tomatoes and cook that till oil separate from the mix.

    Now add in water and bring it to a boil.Simmer this till oil separates.

    Now add in boiled peeled quail eggs and simmer for 5 more mins.Add in coriander leaves and mix well. Serve.

    wash it with cold water

    once the eggs are cold, peel the skin

    Now take your ingredients

    crackle cumin in hot oil

    add in onions and curry leaves

    add in salt and turmeric powder

    mix well

    fry till golden
    Pin
    add in ginger garlic paste

    add in green chillies which is slit

    saute till golden

    add in spice powders

    mix well

    add in pureed tomatoes

    cook this till tomatoes are cooked

    now it is done

    oil has separated from this

    add in water

    mix well..cook till oil separates

    add in eggs

    simmer for few mins

    add in coriander leaves

    mix well
