I totally love iced tea, my favorite is the lemon iced tea from nestle brand. But oneday i tried my hands on homemade one and it was totally yummy. I will soon share my version of homemade lemon iced tea. You can check out my other mango recipes and drinks recipes too..

I mentioned that i was in mood for all things drinks lately. I had few mangoes on hand, so i was thinking what to try with those. Suddenly this recipe came to my mind. Immediately tried it, it tastes so yum..So try this out and let me know how it turned out for you..

Preparation Time : 15 mins
Chilling Time : 1 hour
Cooking Time : 5 mins

Ripe Sweet Mangoes - 2 large peeled and cubed
Water - 2 cups
Tea Powder - 1 tblspn
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Lemon Juice - 3 tblspn
Ice Cubes for Serving
Ice Cold Water for Serving

Take chopped mangoes in a blender and puree them. Set aside till use.

Now take water in a saucepan. Heat it up, once it reaches a boil, add in tea powder and mix well. Add in sugar and mix well.

Now take it off the heat and add in lemon juice.

Now strain this whole thing in a jug or a bowl.Place the jug into the fridge so it gets cold.

Once it is cold, add in the pureed mangoes and mix well. You can chill this whole thing untill serving.

When you serve. Take a serving glass, pour some mango tea syrup in it, add lots of ice cubes and fill it with ice cold water, mix well and serve immediately.
