    Apple Loaf Cake

    Delicious Apple Cake is a cake which you want to have it with a cup of coffee or milk. This is the cake which you want on a stressful day. This is the cake which you want to dig in after your lunch. Get my point. This cake is so close and homy.

    No Fussy frosting, Not too sweet, Not too buttery. Just plain, moderately sweetened cake with full of apples in it. You feel cozy after eating this..

    Ingredients for Apple Loaf Cake Recipe

    • All Purpose Flour - 11/2 cup / 180 gms
    • Sugar - 1 cup / 200 gms
    • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
    • Butter - 100 gms melted / 4 ounces
    • Egg - 1
    • Curd / Yogurt - ⅓ cup 80 ml
    • Baking Powder - ½ tsp
    • Baking Soda - ½ tsp
    • Cinnamon Powder - 1 tsp
    • Apples - 1.5 cup grated

    I made this cake on one fine day after realizing that i had plenty of apples sitting in the corner of the fridge waiting to be consumed.I decided to create my own recipe and make a apple loaf cake out of it and hence this is born. This cake is somewhere a cross between a apple cake and a apple bread.Whatever, it taste yummy..

    How to Make Apple Loaf Cake

    1. Preheat the oven to 170 Degree C / 340 Degree F.
    2. Butter a 500 gm loaf pan, and dust them with flour.
    3. Coat them on all sides and tap off the excess.
    4. Take butter in a bowl. Add in eggs, sugar, vanilla and mix well.
    5. Add in curd and give it a good mix.
    6. Now sift in flour, baking soda, cinnamon and baking powder in this and mix till they are combined.
    7. Add in grated apples and fold to mix.
    8. Now pour this in the prepared pan and bake t for 45- 55 mins till it is baked and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
    9. Let them cool in the tin for 30 mins. Invert them into a plate.
    10. Slice and serve.

    • 1½ cup All Purpose Flour 180 gms

    • 1 Egg
    • ⅓ cup Curd / Yogurt 80 ml

    • 1.5 cup Apples grated

      @beingFabYes since it has fresh fruit, you have to store this is fridge. It will stay upto a week in fridge.

      @LakshmiYou can use mashed bananas and soy milk for curd. Make sure you add a tsp of lemon juice too.

      Hello ma'am
      I tried this cake it was awesome.But it took lot of time to bake and the crust was also hard.I had to bake it more than 55 mts as it was wet from inside.is it suppose to be lil moist as the carrot cake?
