    Capsicum Biryani Recipe

To give you energy and keep your week going. I am going to show you a yummy biryani which is made with my favorite veggie Bell Pepper. I love to add Bell peppers in all my dishes. Some how I love the crunch they gave to the dishes. It makes the dish colourful as well as flavourful. This recipe is best served with raita or pachadi. I served it with pineapple pachadi, which was a hit in my house. So with no more delay, here I deliver the recipe.

    Ingredients for Capsicum Biryani

    3. Add in the ground masala and cook till oil separates from this..
    4. Add in tomatoes and mix well. Season with salt.
    5. Sprinkle in turmeric, coriander, chilli and garam masala powder.
    6. Add in capsicum and mix well. Pour in curd and mix well.
    7. Add in the soaked rice and fry for 2 mins.
    8. Pour in 3 cups of water(for 1 cup rice add 1.5 cup water). Let this come up to boil.

I love biryani, will make this soon.

I remember that old Japanese TV show "Iron Chef" where the host would take a bite out of a whole raw bell pepper. He said it was his favourite vegetable.

      Thanks for this recipe.
