    Ingredients for Christmas Tree Brownies

    Chocolate chips

Semisweet chocolate is the traditional chocolate chip chocolate; in fact, you can make your brownies using melted chocolate chips or chunks if you choose. Semisweet chocolate comprises roughly 40 to 60 percent cocoa solids, giving it a pleasing sweetness and a good flavour.

    Unsalted butter

unsalted butter will give the dish the aeration needed for rising brownies well. If you use a cake brownie, butter is a better option because it helps rise the batter. For denser, fudge type brownies, oil is permissable.

    vanilla extract

vanilla extract will bring out the chocolate flavour, and add a delicious vanilla taste to the brownies
