    Almond Biscotti Recipe

    Crispy and buttery almond biscotti dotted with toasted almonds which taste amazing with a cup of tea or coffee.

    Almond Biscotti Recipe

    This is a delicious biscotti recipe which has no butter added in them. It is quite basic and straightforward recipe. You mix all the ingredients in a bowl and shape it into a dough like. Then bake it and slice it again and bake again. That's it.

    This is super easy to make and taste amazing with a cup of tea or coffee, even milk. I made it almond flavoured and it was wonderful. I will be making different flavours again soon.

    Almond Biscotti Ingredients

    Oil or Butter
    Sugar 
    All Purpose Flour
    Egg
    Baking Powder
    Salt a pinch
    Almonds / Badam
    Almond Extract

    Almond Biscotti Preparation

    • Preheat oven to 190 degree C / 375 degree F. 
    • Take oil, sugar, almond extract, egg in a bowl and mix till combined.
    • Add in baking powder and salt mix well.
    • Add in maida and almonds. Mix well to a dough.
    • Now shape it like a log and bake for 25 to 30 mins in the middle rack.
    • Now remove it cool down for 15 to 20 mins.
    • Slice it into 2 cm thickness and arrange it in a baking tray. Pop it back in oven and bake for 6 to 10 mins on each side till it is golden.
    • Now serve with a cup of tea or coffee.

    Ingredients
      

    • Oil - ¼ cup / 60 ml
    • Sugar - ½ cup / 100 grams
    • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 ½ cup + 2 tblspn
    • Egg - 1.5 egg 1 egg + ½ beaten egg
    • Baking Powder - 1.5 tsp
    • Salt a pinch
    • Almonds / Badam - ¾ cup chopped finely
    • Almond Extract - 1 tsp

    Instructions
     

    • Preheat oven to 190 degree C / 375 degree F.
    • Take oil, sugar, almond extract, egg in a bowl and mix till combined.
    • Add in baking powder and salt mix well.
    • Add in maida and almonds. Mix well to a dough.

    Almond Biscotti Step by Step

    Take your ingredients
    take oil in a bowl
    add sugar
    add almond extract
    1 egg + ½ a egg which is whisked
    mix well
    add salt and baking powder
    add flour
    chopped almonds
    mix well
    shape to a dough
    shape it like this
    bake till light golden
    cool it completely and take it in a cutting board
    slice like this
    arrange it in a baking pan
    bake till light golden
    flip over
    bake till golden
    serve
