This is mango season and how can I not make a salsa because it is my favourite. I made this yesterday and I am in love with it for sure. It taste so delicious when chilled, i loved the freshness of the coriander, the tanginess of lemon and the little kick from chilli. This salsa is very similar to my mango cucumber salsa.

Step by Step Pictures
1)take a ripe mango. Wash them well and pat them dry.

2)Peel off the skin using a vegetable peeler.

3)Cut off both cheeks from the mango. Slice the flesh around the seed of the mangoes.

4)Now slice the mangoes lengthwise.

5)Chop the mangoes pretty fine.

6)Take the chopped mangoes in a bowl.

6)Add in green chillies which is finely chopped.

7)Add in chopped coriander leaves. You can use mint leaves too.

8)Add in some lemon juice for refreshing taste.

9)Season with some salt and some sugar for balance of taste.

10)Toss it really well. Set aside for 30 minutes for the flavours to impart into the mangoes.

11)Mango salsa ready to serve.

- 1 large Ripe Mangoes
- 1 no Green Chilli chopped finely
- 2 tablespoon Coriander leaves finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
- ½ teaspoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
Instructions
- Wash and pat dry ripe mango. Peel off the skin using a vegetable peeler. take the mango in a cutting board and remove both cheeks from the mango. Chop mango into fine dice.
- Take mangoes, green chillies, coriander leaves, lemon juice, salt, sugar in a bowl and toss well. Let it sit in fridge for 30 minutes for the flavors to mingle together.
- Serve with chips or as side salad with roast meat.
