Just made these... but its a total fail... they went totally flat. Too much sugar and too much oil. I can even taste the baking soda. Are you sure your measurement are accurate?

Yes it is right. I think u must have added too much baking soda and over baked it.

you are right Bernice, the measurement is wrong. If one cup is 240 ml then half cup should be 120 no 60. Please correct your measurement in your recipe.

I was looking for healthy atta cookies and found this one amongst a couple. Your instructions looked clear and the recipe sounded simple for someone like me who is making cookies for the first time, that too in a microwave! So.. I went with this one.. I didn't measure the ghee(instead of oil I wanted to use ghee) and initially the dough was not binding so added some more and made them. I wasn't sure how long to leave them to bake in the microwave in convection mode so just sat and stared.. it took almost 15+ min and when I felt they were browning, I stopped and took them out. left them out for 10 min as you recommend and voila! They turned out to be the perfect cookies.. crispy and fluffy! TOTALLY loved them! They are slightly sweeter than what I usually have but I never mind that 😀 Thanks for this awesome and simple recipe with such detailed steps and photos, it's really helpful even for someone like me.. who doesn't know any cooking! 🙂
Please do post more wheat cookie recipes that we can make in the Microwave convection mode! 😀 Thank you once again! YUMMY Tummy indeed! 🙂

To make it more healthy you can add coconut oil instead of regular oil and honey instead of sugar

This recipe looked so easy, so I tried it. The Cooke’s after it cooled down looked so gorgeous. Only thing is , it was oily.. everybody who tried the cooles had oil on their finger tips. Not sure why there was so much excess oil? I used only half cup... not sure if your measurements are wrong?
