Aarthi
@Anonymousi think u have baked it long
Anonymous
Just made these... but its a total fail... they went totally flat. Too much sugar and too much oil. I can even taste the baking soda. Are you sure your measurement are accurate?
Aarthi
Yes it is right. I think u must have added too much baking soda and over baked it.
Zaidi
Hello, I am not having microwave so instead of that can I use oven
Aarthi
yes u can
Anonymous
Yes, even it is a failure for me also. The cookies went flat and too much sugar and oil.
Anonymous
just made these cookies. turned out nice but I think next time I'll be adding a little less sugar
Bernice Daniel
Too much quantity of sugar.... I think it shud be 1/4 cup.. Just a suggestion
Parul Rana
you are right Bernice, the measurement is wrong. If one cup is 240 ml then half cup should be 120 no 60. Please correct your measurement in your recipe.
Harps
She said 1/4 cup not half 😉

I was looking for healthy atta cookies and found this one amongst a couple. Your instructions looked clear and the recipe sounded simple for someone like me who is making cookies for the first time, that too in a microwave! So.. I went with this one.. I didn't measure the ghee(instead of oil I wanted to use ghee) and initially the dough was not binding so added some more and made them. I wasn't sure how long to leave them to bake in the microwave in convection mode so just sat and stared.. it took almost 15+ min and when I felt they were browning, I stopped and took them out. left them out for 10 min as you recommend and voila! They turned out to be the perfect cookies.. crispy and fluffy! TOTALLY loved them! They are slightly sweeter than what I usually have but I never mind that 😀 Thanks for this awesome and simple recipe with such detailed steps and photos, it's really helpful even for someone like me.. who doesn't know any cooking! 🙂
Please do post more wheat cookie recipes that we can make in the Microwave convection mode! 😀 Thank you once again! YUMMY Tummy indeed! 🙂

Aarthi

Hi Arthi I could n't wait for ur reply..Just tried it out in Glass tray..It came out well..But the duration was little long took around 30 mins.Still waited patiemntly. Also I used Olive oil and Kalkandam(sugar crystals-powdered) instead of our normal sugar.Turned out to be a healthy cookie :).Thank u so much for the recipie
Kichi
One more doubt..Y should we add salt.I am very bad in putting salt..When I tried the salt was little above.should we mandatorily add the salt
Aarthi
salt increases the taste and balances. u can skip that too
parul nigam
To make it more healthy you can add coconut oil instead of regular oil and honey instead of sugar
Mallika
Made these just now. Fabulous. I added some coat early ground peanuts to the dough. Will be reducing sugar next time. But thank you for a super-quick, super tasty recipe

Hello loved the recipe of biscuits , but i had a doubt how many days can i store them ?
Deepika
This recipe looked so easy, so I tried it. The Cooke’s after it cooled down looked so gorgeous. Only thing is , it was oily.. everybody who tried the cooles had oil on their finger tips. Not sure why there was so much excess oil? I used only half cup... not sure if your measurements are wrong?
Aarthi
You must have over baked it a little.
Aarthi
You have to use only 1/4 cup of oil, Not half cup.
shveta
