Easy Trifle Recipe - Special Party Trifle Recipe with step wise pictures

Delicious, popular and rich dessert made using cake, custard, fruits, jelly and cream. This is a cool dessert which can be served for any parties.

This trifle is one of the quickest and easiest desert you could ever make. Plus it is so tasty and light.Great for big parties or get togethers. But i can assure you can finish this whole thing from start to finish in under 30 mins if you get the jelly set already.

I made this with just custard and jelly and layered it with cake and fruits. You can use any fruits as you like. Mangoes, Strawberries, Apples, Pineapples will be great too.

Ingredients

• ▢ Sponge cake or Pound Cake as needed
• ▢ Instant Jelly packets - 1
• ▢ Whipped Cream - as needed
• ▢ Tutti Fruity as needed

FOR CUSTARD:

• ▢ Milk - 2 cups
• ▢ Vanilla Custard Powder - 4 tblsp
• ▢ Sugar - ½ cup

FOR FRUITS:

• ▢ Mixed Fruits - 2 cups chopped finely
• ▢ Banana - 1 chopped finely
• ▢ Tutti fruity - ¼ cup
• ▢ Sugar - 3 tblsp
• ▢ Orange juice or Water - ¼ cup

Instructions

• ▢
  Mix custard powder with little milk and set aside.
• ▢
  Take milk in a sauce pan, add sugar and bring it to a boil.
• ▢
  Add in the custard mix into the milk and stir till thickens. Set aside.
• ▢
  Prepare jelly as per package directions.
• ▢
  Take fruits, sugar, orange juice in a bowl and mix well. Add tutti fruity and mix well. Set aside.
• ▢
  Take a trifle bowl. place the cake in the base.
• ▢
  Top with fruits.
• ▢
  Top with custard.
• ▢
  Top with the jelly mix.
• ▢
  Chill for few hours till set.
• ▢
  Now top with whipped cream and decorate with tutti fruity.

Pictorial:

1)Take custard powder in a bowl.

2)Add in milk.

3)Mix well and set aside.

4)Take milk in a sauce pan

5)Add in sugar

6)Cook till milk boils.

7)Bring milk to a boil.

8)Add in custard powder mix.

9)Cook till thickens

10)Now it is thick.

11)Set aside too cool.

12)Open a jelly packet in a bowl

13)Bring water to a boil.

14)Mix well

15) Take apple in a bowl

16)Add in sugar

17)Add little water or orange juice

18)Add in banana

19)Add in tutti fruity

20)Mix well.

21)I used my homemade cherry loaf cake recipe. i will share recipe soon.

21)Line the base of the bowl with the cake

22)Spoon the fruit mix on top with the syrup

23)Take the custard and pour over the fruits

24)Fill the bowl

25)Now top with the jelly mix. Chill for few hours till it is set.

26)Top with whipped cream.

27)Top with tutti fruity

28)Serve
