    Egg Sambal Recipe

    This is one of the Easy Peasy Recipe. It hardly took me 10 min to make apart from the cooking time of the eggs. This is a easy egg preparation that is cooked in a simple sambal paste. This is one of the simple Malaysian style egg dish.

    Ingredients for Egg Sambal

    • Egg-5
    • Onion-1 sliced into rounds
    • Oil-2 tblspn
    • Sugar-1 tsp
    • Salt to taste
    • Dry Red chilli-4 soaked in water
    • Shallots / Sambar Onion-5
    • Garlic-5 cloves
    • Ginger-1 inch piece
    • Tamarind juice-1 tblspn

    How to Make Egg Sambal

    1. Grind all the ingredients for the sambal to a smooth paste.
    2. In a wok heat oil,Add in the sambal paste and cook till oil separates. Season with salt and sugar. Add in tamarind juice and cook for 3 min.
    3. Add in sliced onion and toss well for 2 min.
    4. Now add in the eggs and mix till well coated.
    5. Serve with rice.

    Ingredients
      

    • Egg-5

    Grind shallots, red chilli paste, garlic, ginger to a fine paste
