Sesame Chicken

Sesame Chicken
Malaysia is famous for its street food dishes…This is one of those dishes that can be made within 15 min…This recipe is modified from Rasamalysia.com…I added couple of extra stuffs to make it even more tasty..If you like sesame flavour then this dish is for you…The additional sesame seeds gives you little bit of crunch. .

Ingrediants:
Chicken-1/2 kg
Ginger -1 tblspn minced
Garlic-1 tblspn minced
Chilli flakes-1 tsp
Soya Sauce-1 tblspn
Pepper-1 tsp
Sugar-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Sesame oil-2 tblspn
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Sesame seeds-1 tblspn
Method:
Heat oil in a wok,Add in ginger,garlic and fry for 30 sec.
Add in the chicken and sear on all sides.Add in soya sauce,chilli flakes,sugar,salt and mix well.
Cover it and let it cook on a slow flame till the chicken is done.If it gets too dry add a splash of water.
Lastly sprinkle over some pepper powder.Garnish with coriander leaves and sesame seeds.
Serve hot with rice.

    This chicken came out super tasty and my family went crazy about it. There was a huge fight for the last piece and i had to promise them a repeat of the same next meal for the quarrel to subside.

    I did make some slight modifications, though. I added some red, green, yellow and orange cubed bell peppers, one onion cubed, and a dash of Sriracha sauce to add more zing to the dish.
