Fiery & Crispy Fried Chicken Recipe

This is one of my all time favourite fried chicken, fiery and really spicy one..So good and so easy to make. but it turns out really crispy. I have many more fried chicken recipes in my blog. Will share all of them soon..

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 30 mins
Marinating Time : Overnight
Serves : 4

Ingredients:


For Brining:
Chicken – 1 whole chicken cut into 10 pieces (around 1.25 kg)
Water – as needed
Salt – 1/2 cup
Sugar – 1/2 cup


For Spicy Coating:
Egg – 3
Buttermilk / Yogurt – 1 cup
Red Chilli Sauce – 1/2 cup
Red Chilli Powder – 2 tblspn


For Flour Coating:
All Purpose Flour / Maida – 4 cups
Salt to taste
Chilli Powder – 2 tblspn
Dried Oregano – 1 tblspn
Dried Parsley – 1 tblspn
Dried Basil – 1 tblspn
Garlic Powder – 1 tblspn
Onion Powder – 1 tblspn
Oil for Deep frying

Method:

Mix water, sugar and salt in a bowl. Immerse chicken in this and leave it overnight.

Now mix all the ingredients for the spicy coating in a bowl and drop chicken in and leave for 30 mins or so.

Now mix all the ingredients for the flour coating. Take each chicken and dredge it well in the flour coating, dip it in the egg mix and drop it in flour coating again and coat well.

Arrange it in a wire rack and let it dry for 30 mins or so.

Now heat oil for deep frying, drop chicken in and fry till golden. Drain and serve hot.

Pictorial:
First lets brine the chicken to make it so juicy..
Take water in a bowl
add salt to it
add sugar to it
mix well
immerse chicken in this water and leave it in the fridge overnight..This makes the chicken so juicy.
crack open an egg in a bowl
now to spice it up..take your red chilli sauce..
add a healthy dollop in
add in some chilli powder
now add in some buttermilk or thin curd
mix well
drop your chicken in
leave it to marinate for 30 mins
Now take your coating ingredients
Take flour in a bowl
add in some salt and chilli powder
add in onion powder and garlic powder
add some oregano
add in parsley
add in basil
now everything is added
mix well
take your chicken
remove it carefully using a tongs
coat it in the flour mix
coat it well
now dip it second time in the chilli buttermilk mix
remove it
coat it again in the flour coating
coat it on all sides
place it in a wire rack so it can dry up
all done..leave it there for 15 mins so it dries up
Heat oil for deep frying
drop chicken in
fry till golden
fry it till crispy
drain it
Serve

    In coating it is written 3 eggs
    but in pics you added one egg.?

    @Aman Ajwaniyou can skip and add some grated onions. You can check amazon for onion powder and garlic
