    Mini Jam Tarts Recipe

Jam Tarts such an easy recipe to make. These cute little buttery biscuit base has a slightly tart jam filling which almost sets as it bakes. I enjoyed many many of these.

    Ingredients for Mini Jam Tarts

    • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 2 cups / 240 grams
    • Sugar - ½ cup / 100 grams
    • Soft Unsalted Butter - 140 grams
    • Vanilla Essence - 2 tsp
    • Egg - 1
    • Baking Powder - ½ tsp
    • Salt - ¼ tsp
    • Any Jam of your choice - 1 cup

The pastry is a fool proof recipe and gives you the buttery and slightly crumbly crust..Since the jam is the star of this recipe, try to use good quality jam. I used blackcurrant preserve in this and i loved it. You can use strawberry, raspberry or any berry jam, even apricots preserves will be great too.

Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..
