    Kada Prasad Recipe - Easy Diwali Sweets Recipe with step wise pictures.

    Delicious kada prasad or wheat flour halwa which taste so delicious and yummy. This makes a great prasad for any festival.

    This easy halwa not only taste amazing but is easy to make. This is one of the prasad which is given in any temples on special occasions. You just need wheat flour, ghee and sugar.

    Ingredients
      

    • Wheat Flour - ½ cup
    • Sugar - ¾ cup
    • Water - 11/2 cup
    • Ghee - ½ cup

    Instructions
     

    • Take sugar and water in a sauce pan and bring it to a boil. Take it off the heat and set aside. You have to bring it to boil again before adding to the roasted flour.
    • Now in a pan, heat ghee and add in wheat flour. Roast on medium heat till golden brown. It should smell nutty and toasty.
    • Now add in the sugar syrup and mix well.
    • It will thicken and cook till ghee separates.
    • Serve.

    Pictorial:

    1)Take sugar in a sauce pan

    2)Add in water

    3)Heat and bring it to a boil

    4)Take it off the heat and set aside. You have to bring it to boil again before adding to the roasted flour.

    5)Heat ghee in a pan

    6)Add wheat flour

    7)Roast it on medium heat

    8)Keep cooking

    9)Continue cooking

    10)Roast till it gets light golden colour.

    11)Add in sugar syrup little by little

    12)Mix well

    13)Add more syrup and keep cooking.

    14)Keep mixing

    15)Keep mixing, it will thicken

    16)Cook till ghee separates

    17)Now it is done

    18)Serve

      Looks awesome. Can we use jaggery instead of sugar? If yes, please tell the quantity and water proportion.
