Nachos is one recipe which was requested so many times in yummy tummy. Finally i made my first version which is nachos with cheese sauce. I will be sharing many more version of nachos plus a homemade nacho chips as well. So stay tuned..
Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking time : 15 mins
Serves: 2
Butter - 2 tblspn
All Purpose Flour / Maida - 2 tblspn
Milk - 1 cup
Sharp Cheddar Cheese - 2 ¼ cups grated or cubed
Chilli Powder - ½ tsp
Turmeric Powder - ¼ tsp
Salt to taste
Nacho Crisp or Corn Chips for serving
Method:
Heat butter in a pan, add in flour and mix well cook till raw smell leaves from it.
Add in milk and whisk well so no lumps are formed. Now cook this till the sauce thickens lightly.
Add in chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix well. Cook this for a min or so.
Now add in cheese and mix well, the cheese will melt down slowly.
Keep mixing till it gets smooth and silky. Add salt to taste.
Pour into small bowls and serve with chips.
The cheese sauce will thicken as it stands by, if it gets thick, add little more hot milk and mix well to get the right consistency.

@kavithathis stays good for 3 to 4 days in fridge. but it tends to get thick. so reheat it as needed
