    No Bake Cheerio Bars Recipe with step by step pictures. This is made with Cheerios or Honey Loops,Roasted Almonds and Honey.

    No Bake Cheerio Bars

    This is a easy no bake bar recipe made with honey and almonds. I used honey loops to make this bar, you can use any toasted oats cereal or cheerios. This is great to make for your kids, great to have for breakfast with a cup of milk.

    Ingredients for No Bake Cheerio Bars

    • Cheerios or Honey Loops - 3 cups
    • Roasted Almonds - ½ cup chopped
    • Unsalted Butter - 4 tbsp
    • Brown Sugar -¼ cup
    • Honey - ¼ cup
    • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
    • Salt - 1 tsp

    How to make No Bake Cheerio Bars

    1. Take cheerios and almonds in a bowl and mix well.
    2. In a sauce pan, take butter, brown sugar, honey, salt, vanilla and mix well. Put it on heat and bring to a boil, boil it for 1 min. Take it off the heat.
    3. Now add the cheerio mix in this and mix well.
    4. Pour this in a parchment lined pan and smooth the top.
    5. Now put this in fridge and let it set for 30 mins to 1 hour.
    6. Slice and serve.

    No Bake Cheerio Bars Recipe step by step picture 

    Take all your ingredients
    you need roasted almonds
    chop them up
    take cheerios or honey loops in a bowl
    add almonds
    mix well
    line a pan with parchment paper and grease it lightly with oil
    take butter in a pan
    add brown sugar
    add honey
    pinch of salt and some vanilla extract
    Heat it
    Bring it to a boil
    boil for 1 min
    take it off the heat and add in the cereal mix
    Mix gently
    Spoon into the pan
    spread the top so it is even
    chill for few hours
    unwrap it
    cut it into bars
    Serve

      I hv a doubt.I HV heard that honey when heated becomes toxic.if its true then can't we substitute honey with something else?
