This is a easy no bake bar recipe made with honey and almonds. I used honey loops to make this bar, you can use any toasted oats cereal or cheerios. This is great to make for your kids, great to have for breakfast with a cup of milk.

Setting Time : 1 hour
Makes: 16 bars
Cheerios or Honey Loops - 3 cups
Roasted Almonds - ½ cup chopped
Unsalted Butter - 4 tblspn
Brown Sugar -¼ cup
Honey - ¼ cup
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Take cheerios and almonds in a bowl and mix well.
In a sauce pan, take butter, brown sugar, honey, salt, vanilla and mix well. Put it on heat and bring to a boil, boil it for 1 min. Take it off the heat.
Now add the cheerio mix in this and mix well.
Pour this in a parchment lined pan and smooth the top.
Now put this in fridge and let it set for 30 mins to 1 hour.
Slice and serve.

|chop them up|
|take cheerios or honey loops in a bowl|
|line a pan with parchment paper and grease it lightly with oil|
|take butter in a pan|
|add brown sugar|
|add a pinch of salt and some vanilla extract|
|Bring it to a boil|
|boil for 1 min|
|take it off the heat and add in the cereal mix|
|Spoon into the pan|
|spread the top so it is even|
|chill for few hours|
|cut it into bars|
