Hi , have tried almost all your baking recipes and it is was super hit . . Except for the ones with yeast 🙂 I tried once , but the smell of the yeast never left the bread . . Is it bcos the yeast which I used was spoiled or any other reason ? But it smelled really bad , it nvr left the bread even after baking . . Can u pls guide me on wad I am doing wrong pls . Thanks
@Anonymoustry a new brand. use less yeast and give more rising time.
it used to happen to me too before. did the yeast turn foamy while proofing???? if NOT, then the yeast smell would be there throughout no matter what the brand. the yeast must turn foamy while proofing, then only it will ferment well or else it will be a disaster. I solved the problem myself. try it this way. hope this helps
I made this for myself as a new learning on my birthday, yesterday. It was a superhighway and I am directing everyone to you blog post now. Some changes, used wholemeal flour and plain milk wash. So the dough was stickier and less Brown
