Patty Peas Burger
This is a healthy burger recipe…I used frozen peas in this, but you could use fresh peas also..You could have the fried pattice all by itself like a peas tikki…But I put it inside a burger so that it make a filling meal for a picnic…

Ingrediants:
Burger Buns
Peas-1 cup(defrosted)
Ginger Garlic Paste-1 tblspn
Green chilli-2
Coriander leaves-1 tblspn chopped
Gram flour-1/2 cup
Breadcrumbs-3 tblspn
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying
For topping:
Onion-sliced into round
Tomato-sliced into round
Lemon juice as per taste
Method:
Take the peas, ginger garlic paste, green chilli, salt, coriander leaves  in a mixer and make it into a coarse puree.Tip this into a  bowl.
Add in gram flour, breadcrumbs and mix well.
Form into pattice as per your liking and shallow fry in oil till crispy.
For assembling the burger, toast your buns and Place this burger pattice over it and top with sliced onions, tomatoes and squeeze some lemon juice.
Cover with the other half of the bun and dig in straight away or wrap it in foil and take to picnic.
Pictorial:
Grab your ingrediants
Make a coarse puree out of peas,g.chilli, ginger garlic paste, salt…
Mix in gram flour and breadcrumbs with this
make some pattice out of it…Fry till golden..
Prepare all ur stuffs for burger
Assemble your burger
SERVE

This is one heck of an interesting recipe. I had gram flour before moving. Don't know if I have some right now. I'll have to check. Thanks for the idea.

Yummy! I actually made my own veggie burgers this weekend but used black beans and kidney beans. I like the idea of peas, they are so much more tender. 🙂
