    Veggie Bagel Recipe with step by step pictures. Fresh veggies and cheese stuffed inside bagel which is super delicious.

     

    Veggie Bagel Recipe

    Healthy Burger or sandwich whatever you call..This is made with my best homemade bagel and my homemade hung curd. Normally they use cream cheese for this, but i used hung curd and worked perfectly.

    Ingredients for Making Veggie Bagel Recipe

    Bagels - 2
    Butter - 1 tblspn 

    For Spread:
    Hung Curd / Cream Cheese - 4 tblspn
    Coriander Leaves - 2 tblspn finely chopped
    Green Chillies - 1 finely chopped
    Salt to taste


    For Filling:
    Cucumber - 1 small sliced thinly into rounds
    Tomatoes - 1 large sliced into rounds
    Onions - 1 large sliced thinly
    Lettuce - few leaves
    Cheese Slice - 2

     
     

    The crispy buttered toasted bagels along with freshly sliced veggies and salty cheese slice is amazing. This can be packed in foil and had for lunch too. So try this out and let me know how it turns out for you.

    How to Make Veggie Bagel Recipe

    • Mix the ingredients given for spread and set aside.
    • Slit bagel in half and butter it generously. Toast it in tawa till it crispy and toasted.
    • Now spread some of the spread on both side of the toasted bagels.
    • Arrange onions, cucumber and tomatoes on both sides.
    • Place a cheese slice and place the other bagel with the veg on top.
    • Serve immediately.

    Veggie Bagels Recipe Step by Step Pictures

     
    take all your ingredients

     

    chop up some coriander leaves and chillies

     

    Take couple tblspn of hund curd in a bowl

     

    add in finely chopped coriander and chillies

     

    season with some salt

     

    mix them well

     

    take a bagel

     

    split them in half

     

    smear some butter on them

     

    toast them

     

    toast till they are golden

     

    it should be crispy too

     

    smear the herby spread all over the bagel

     

    place some sliced onions on both sides

     

    some cucumber

     

    some tomatoes

     

    sprinkle some salt over, just a little..it is because a
    touch of salt makes the tomatoes taste way sweeter

     

    lay a cheese slice

     

    cover it up

     

    serve
