This is a simple coconut based prawn dish. it is so flavourful and taste so delicious. You can have it with plain rice and rasam. Taste heavenly.
Ingredients for Prawn Thoran
- Prawns - 250 grams chopped into small pieces
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
- Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
- Lemon Juice or Vinegar - 1 tblspn
- Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
- Coconut - 1 cup grated
- Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
- Dry Red Chillies - 2
- Fennel Seeds / Saunf / Sombu - 1 tsp
- Cinnamon / Pattai - 1 small piece

How to Make Prawn Thoran
- Take marination ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Leave it to marinate for 10 mins.
- Take grinding ingredients in a blender and make it into a coarse mix, dont add water to this.
- Heat oil in a pan, add in onions, curry leaves and give s quick toss. Add in the prawns and cook on high heat till the water leached from the prawns dries up.
- Now add in coconut masala and toss well till it is well roasted.
- Now serve.

- Curry leaves a handful
- For Marination:
- Prawns - 250 grams chopped into small pieces

- Salt to taste
- For Grinding:
