Poha is one of my favourite, we make it at least once a week, but mostly it is south indian way by adding coconut to it..But this recipe is new to me and it taste just yummy. I have had this poha quite a few times during our trip to north, i loved it for breakfast..So i tried it yesterday and it was delicious..So here i am with the post.

Ingredients for Potato Poha
- Poha / Aval / Flattened Rice - 2 cups
- Potato - 1 medium size peeled and cubed
- Oil - 2 tblspn
- Onion - 1 small chopped finely
- Green Chillies - 3 to 5 chopped finely
- Peanuts - 2 tblspn
How to Make Potato Poha
- Take poha in a bowl. Add in water, salt, ½ tsp sugar, ½ tsp turmeric and mix well. Set aside.
- Now heat oil in a kadai. Add in peanuts and roast till golden. Add in mustard, chana dal, urad dal, hing and mix well. Fry till it turns golden.
- Add in onions, curry leaves and green chilli. Add in little salt and sugar along with turmeric. Mix well.
- Now add in potatoes and chilli powder, Mix well. Cover and simmer till potatoes are cooked.
- Now increase the heat and roast the potatoes till it gets golden.
- Now add in the poha and toss well. Once everything is heated up, add in coriander leaves and lemon juice.
- Mix well and serve.

- Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
- Lemon Juice to taste
- Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped
- Water - ½ cup
