    Hello

I made this yesterday throwing in a bit of grated coconut at the end. Delicious and didn't require a lot of work. I've blogged about this so hope you don't mind me linking to this post for the recipe. Cheers! 😀

Hi i tried this, after cooking the snake gourd is not edible, it looks raw. So i poured more water and boil it for some more minutes, i tried this for 3 times. Then only the snake guard becomes edible. And the pan also get more heat and sides of pan becomes black, due to that the taste goes down. Can you suggest what i need to do for making the snake gourd edible. Thanks for your nice post. Really it will help the peoples like me.

@AnonymousSnake gourd doesn't need much time to cook at all. Just 10 to 12 mins is enough. Try to get tender gourd. And if your pan turns black, then you should use a thick bottom pan. Dont cook this on a high heat, use low to medium heat alway, so the vegges cooks slowly and perfectly.
