    Cinnamon Streusel Loaf Cake Recipe with step by step pictures. This Cinnamon is such an aromatic warming spice and adds attractive to baked goods and drinks.

    I love cinnamon in cakes, i love the unique flavour and taste it gives to the cake. Plus when i bake anything with cinnamon it is makes the house smells divine. Love it to the core.

    Ingredients for Cinnamon Streusel Loaf Cake Recipe

    For Batter:

    • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 cup / 120 grams
    • Baking Powder - 1.5 tsp
    • Cinnamon powder - 1 tsp
    • Salt - ¼ tsp
    • Soft Unsalted Butter - ¼ cup / 60 grams
    • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
    • Sugar - ½ cup / 100 grams
    • Egg - 1
    • Milk - 5 tbsp or as needed

    For Streusel topping:

    • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 4 tbsp
    • Sugar - 3 tbsp
    • Cinnamon Powder - 1 tsp
    • Cold Unsalted Butter - 2 tbsp
    • Badam / Almonds - ¼ cup chopped
     
    Streusel Cake are my favourite. It makes the cake taste delicious with the crunchy topping. This cake has a ton of cinnamon flavour and turns out really soft.
     
     
    This cake was so buttery and fluffy perfect with a cup of chai.

    How to Make Cinnamon Streusel Loaf Cake

    1. Preheat the oven to 180 degree C. Prepare a loaf pan by buttering it on all sides and flouring it well. Set aside.
    2. Now start by making the streusel topping. Take flour, sugar, cinnamon powder in a bowl.
    3. Add in cold butter cubes and use a fork to press it so it forms into crumbles.
    4. Add in badam and fork it through. Now set this in fridge till you make the batter.
    5. Now make the batter. Take flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon powder in a bowl and mix well
    6. Take butter, sugar and vanilla in a bowl and beat till it gets creamy.
    7. Now add in egg and beat well.
    8. Add in half of the flour mix and mix well. Add in milk and fold well.
    9. Add in the remaining flour and mix well.
    10. Pour this batter into the prepared pan. Top with the streusel topping.
    11. Bake it for 35 to 40 mins, insert a skewer to see whether the cake is done, if the skewer comes out clean then it is done.
    12. Remove it and cool it completely.
    13. Invert to a cooling rack and slice and serve.

    Ingredients

    • For Batter:
    • 1 cup All Purpose Flour 120 grams
    • 1.5 tsp Baking Powder
    • 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
    • ¼ tsp Salt
    • ¼ cup Unsalted Butter 60 grams
    • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
    • ½ cup Sugar 100 grams
    • 1 Egg
    • 5 tbsp or as needed Milk
    • For Streusal topping:
    • 4 tbsp All Purpose Flour / Maida
    • 3 tbsp Sugar
    • 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
    • 2 tbsp Cold Unsalted Butter
    • ¼ cup Badam / Almonds chopped

    Take flour and sugar in a bowl
    add in cinnamon and cold butter
    fork it through
    Now it has started resembling a coarse mix
    Add in chopped almonds
    fork it through
    Put it in fridge till the batter is done
    Now take your batter ingredients
    Prepare a loaf pan
    Take flour in a bowl
    add in salt
    baking powder
    add in cinnamon powder
    mix well
    Take butter in a bowl
    add in sugar
    add a dash of vanilla
    beat till creamy
    once it has turned light and fluffy
    add in 1 egg
    beat well
    add in half of the flour
    and milk
    now add in the remaining flour
    fold well
    pour it into a loaf pan
    add in streusel topping
    top the streusel over the cake
    Bake it
    remove it and slice and serve
    So soft and so moist

      Hello aarthi 🙂 im taking my kids to dhubai on this pongal vacation.thot of trying this n taking with me.i want some real foods with me.like rasam paste, breads,banana chips etc..u hav any idea wich type of snaks or foods wil thrive long?for vacations? Sory for the disturbamce but u r the one i cud turn to now with same taste n wavelenth dear 🙂

      Hi Aarthi.. I baked it.. and it turned out wonderfully delicious... have my guests coming tomorrow.. can I refrigerate it and then microwave it tomorrow? if yes, for how many minutes? Please let me know.
