Mango Cake Recipe – Glazed Mango Cake Recipe with step wise pictures.

Super soft and delicious mango glaze which is so soft and the glaze in the cake really makes it. It makes the cake so soft and moist.

I always wanted to make a proper mango cake. I am telling you this is the perfect recipe for that. The cake is moist, soft and full of mango flavour.

Mango Cake Recipe - Glazed Mango Cake Recipe

Ingredients

FOR CAKE:

  • Unsalted Butter - 1/2 cup 110 grams
  • Sugar - 3/4 cup 150 grams
  • Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
  • Eggs - 2
  • Mango Puree - 3/4 cup
  • All Purpose Flour / Maida - 1 3/4 cup 210 grams
  • Baking Powder - 1 tsp
  • Baking Soda / Cooking Soda - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt a pinch
  • Milk - 1/2 cup 120 ml

FOR MANGO GLAZE:

  • Mango Puree - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 1/4 cup

(MY 1 CUP MEASURES 240 ML)

    Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Grease a pan with butter and dust with flour. Coat on all sides and set aside.
    • Take flour, baking soda, baking powder and mix well.
    • Take butter, sugar, salt and vanillla in a bowl and mix well till creamy.
    • Add eggs and whisk till creamy.
    • Add mango puree and fold gently.
    • Add in half of the flour mix and mix gently. Add in milk and fold gently.
    • Now add in other half flour and fold gently.
    • Spoon it into the prepared pan and bake for 35 to 45 mins.
    • Remove and cool completely.
    • Now make the glaze. Take mango puree and sugar in a sauce pan and heat till it is melted and bubble up.
    • Now spoon the sauce all over the cake and set aside for 1 hour.
    • Slice and serve.

    Pictorial:

    4)Add in baking powder

    5)Mix well.

    6)Take butter in a bowl.

    7)Add in sugar

    8)Add vanilla

    9)Add in some salt.

    10)Mix well till creamy.

    11)Add in mango puree

    12)Fold gently.

    13)Add in half of the flour mix

    14)Add in milk.

    15)Add in remaining flour

    16)Fold gently.

    17)Spoon it into the prepared pan.

    18)Bake till done.

    19)Now make the glaze. Take mango puree in a sauce pan.

    20)Add sugar

    21)Heat till sugar melts.

    22)Unmould the cake.

    23)Brush the cake with glaze

    24)Brush all over the cake.

    25)Set aside for 1 hour. Slice and serve.
