    Eggless Strawberry Oatmeal Bars

    This is one recipe which i was looking forward to make for quite a long time. It is from the pioneer woman's blog. I loved the simplicity of this recipe. It is so easy to make and the taste is so much rewarding. YUM YUM indeed.

    Ingredients for Eggless Strawberry Oatmeal Bars

    • All Purpose Flour / Maida - ¾ cup / 90 grams
    • Instant Oats (Quick cooking) - ¾ cup / 65 grams
    • Unsalted Butter - 100 grams
    • Powdered Sugar - ½ cup / 100 grams
    • Baking Powder - ½ tsp
    • Salt - ¼ tsp
    • Strawberry Jam - 1 cup or any jam (RECIPE HERE

    I seriously have an addiction towards bars, they are so handy. portable, mini size and you don't feel so guilty that you have gulped a whole lot of it. It is perfect for sharing as well. When i made this i was so happy that i had my homemade strawberry jam to use for this, so i know it is double healthy..

    How to Make Eggless Strawberry Oatmeal Bars

    1. Preheat oven to 170 degree C. Grease a 15 cm square baking tray with butter and set aside.
    2. Take flour, oats, baking powder, salt. butter in a bowl and use a fork or your hands to mix it well.
    3. Now transfer half of this mix into the tray and press it evenly,
    4. Spread jam all over it.
    5. Sprinkle the remaining crumbles all over the jam.
    6. Now bake this in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 mins.
    7. Let it cool completely.

    • ¾ cup / 90 grams All Purpose Flour / Maida
    • ¾ cup / 65 grams Instant Oats Quick cooking
    • 100 grams Unsalted Butter
    • ½ cup / 100 grams Powdered Sugar
    • ½ tsp Baking Powder
    • ¼ tsp Salt
    • 1 cup or any jam Strawberry Jam

    Eggless Strawberry Oatmeal Bars Recipe Step by Step

    You just need a handful of ingredients

    Start by making the base..I took some instant 
    oats in a bowl

    add in flour
    Pin
    add in some baking powder and salt

    Now add in some powdered sugar..this is regular
    sugar which i powdered in a blender

    Now add in butter

    use a fork to mix it into the flour

    now it is looking like a crumble, little wet that that

    look at the texture

    pour half of the mix into a greased baking dish

    use you hands to press it evenly

    just press it lightly so it forms a even layer

    all done..i love the specks of oats all over it, it makes
    it crunchy

    Now you have to grab your favourite jam, i used
    my homemade strawberry jam

    use the back of a spoon to smoothen it out

      Hi aarthi...one small clarity..if maida is 3/4 cup =90 gm..then oats are 3/4 cup =65 gms?... if ur 1 cup is 240 ml... then 3/4 cup will be 180 right?

      @Deepai am not sure...it will make the bars little denser..you can use half flour and half wheat flour
