    This is what i made using my 1 min instant khoya. Mathura ka peda is a popular North Indian sweet recipe, it is made in many ways. And this is how i make it. It is made using a mix of toasted khoya and sugar. So tasty and so easy.

    Ingredients for Mathura Peda

    • Unsweetened Khoya / Mawa - 2 cup (Recipe here)
    • Sugar - ½ cup + extra for rolling
    • Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
    • Milk - 1 tbsp (Optional)

    How to Make Mathura Peda

    1. Grate khoya, add it to a dry pan, roast till golden brown.
    2. Now take it in a blender, add in sugar, cardamom powder and pulse few times. Add a splash of milk and pulse it.
    3. Now remove it to a bowl. Take small portion and shape it into ball.
    4. Roll it in sugar and set aside.
    5. Serve.

    Mathura Peda Step by Step

     
    Take your khoya..i used instant 1 min khoya
    grate them
    now measure this in a cup
    you need 2 cup of grated khoya
    now take them in a nonstick pan
    roast them 
    roast them on low heat
    it will turn golden brown
    now it has turned golden
    now it is done
    remove to a bowl
    add in sugar
    add in cardamom powder
    mix well..if you can you can shape ball right from this..but my mix was too dry
    so i added it in a blender..i also added a spoonful of milk
    pulse few times
    take small portion
    roll it into a smooth ball
    roll it in sugar
    Done
    Serve
