    Orange Buttercream Frosting Recipe with step by step pictures. This recipe is simple buttercream frosting a tangy twist by adding a splash of orange juice.

    Orange Buttercream Frosting

    I would say if you love oranges then you will surely love this frosting. It is creamy and very orangy. I used this to frost my orange cupcakes, you can use this to frost chocolate or vanilla cakes as well..

    Ingredients for Orange Buttercream Frosting

    • Unsalted Butter - 100 grams
    • Confectioners Sugar / Icing Sugar - 400 grams
    • Orange Juice - 2 to 3 tbsp
    • Orange Essence few drops
    • Orange Zest - ½ tsp
    • Orange Food Coloring a pinch

    How to Make Orange Buttercream Frosting

    1. Sift icing sugar and set aside
    2. Take butter in a bowl and beat till fluffy using a electric beater.
    3. Add in icing sugar slowly and beat till creamy. Add little orange juice and keep whipping till it gets creamy.
    4. Keep on adding icing sugar and keep mixing. It will slowly get creamy and fluffy.
    5. Now finally add in orange essence, food coloring and orange zest. Mix well.
    6. Use as needed

    Orange Buttercream Frosting Recipe Step by Step

    Take all your ingredients
     
     
    Take powdered sugar in a sifter
     
     
    sieve it well
     
     
    Take it in a bowl
     
     
    Take butter in a large bowl
     
     
    Beat till fluffy
     
     
    now it is all done
     
     
    now slowly add in icing sugar

     

    add 1 cup at a time
     
     
    whip it up
     
     
    add ½ tblspn of orange juice
     
     
    whip well
     
     
    add 1 cup more icing sugar
     
     
    and some more orange juice
     
     
    whip till creamy
     
     
    i added some more orange juice
     
     
    and sugar
     
     
    whip again
     
     
    repeat this till you have added all sugar
     
     
    see how creamy it is
     
     
    now add in little orange essence
     
     
    orange food colour
     
     
    whip well
     
     
    finally add in orange zest
     
     
    mix well
     
     
    use as needed
     
     
    i used this to frost my orange cupcakes
